Today was great!I knew we were gonna take my mom out to breakfast,so I woke up early to do my and my daughter's laundry =( So that it would be out of the way and we could go to breakfast.To my surprise when I got up all the laundry had already been done!=)All I had to do was get dressed.Soon after we all went to breakfast.That was delicious! After we headed over to my favorite thriftstore where I scored a few things!We then went to the Long Beach towne center to do a little more shopping.Finally we headed home and stopped of at the cemetary to leave some mothers day flower's to loved ones.Today was very nice.=)I wish everybody a wonderful Mothers Day! We all went out for super yummy breakfast. Andraya gave me these beautiful flowers! We finally got to witness the OC Roller girls in action.It was pretty awesome!
Later that day we went to my nephew's 8th birthday party at chuck e cheese. Andraya's new roller derby friend.It was so cute they met each other at the event. Saturday morning Andraya entered a roller skate race to raise money for breast cancer,Im so proud of her !!!!
Wow so yesterday Exene played an acoustic set inside of Vinyl Solution records.I love Exene I have seen her numerous times play with X and I think they are awesome!Diane told me that jeff told her about it and to not be late!So I made sure to be there ahead of time and its a good thing I did. That tiny little store was packed!Exene was outside talking to her fans when I arrived.I can't believe how nervous I felt, star struck I guess.She was walking right towards me and she said hi! Eep!I froze I said hi back but thats it.=( When she was ready to start everyone jammed themselves in the store,She sounded Great!I thought maybe I could get pictures after,but there were too many people there.It was pretty rad, I have been going to that record store since about 17 and its nice to know that its still there and thriving! There were people there my age as well as young kids. I was just there back at christmas time buying a blondie t-shirt for Andraya. Its cool to know that this generation of kids are interested in still buying vinyl and listening to good music!
I didn't really have plans for today,so instead got a bunch of much needed chores done.The weather was kinda cold and grey all day so I felt pretty productive.Laundry,cleaned the house,painted a picture,I even planted a serano chili plant yay me! It was a good day ! oh and I'm also trying to design some new dolls.Craft show season is right around the corner!ugh! Its almost Monday again.... A watercolor picture I painted today.
So far this week at work blows! I can't believe its only Tuesday.Oh well I can at least dream about making a fabulous collection of clothing inspired by all of Tim Burton's movies on one of these antique sewing machines!Hope everyone Else's week is going well!
