Well this morning started off cold and rainy,just like the weather reporters had predicted . I couldn't wait to sleep in and listen to the drops fall outside my window.I was going to wear my warm sweater and thick socks and just sit back and be all cozy all Saturday long.What really ended up happening is I woke up way too early .Then I got it stuck in my head that the estate sale I had read about the night before was going to be Amazing!.So I got up ,got my sister up and we were off to find treasures.We found the sale with no problem it looked promising.It wasn't! We found absolutely nothing. ;( I hate when I build these things up and then feel so disappointed.Ok so I thought oh well I'll go home snuggle under my blankie and read a good magazine and listen to the rain.But NO that too came to a screeching halt.The clouds all cleared ,the sun came out and I was actually hot and had to take off my sweater. Yay winter in Orange County!
I made these delicious apple cinnamon scones from the Feb. issue of Martha Stewart living magazine.
We did a little mother ,daughter thrifting shopping.It turned out pretty profitable for my daughter, usually does!Though still for some reason isn't into it nearly as much as me.She scored two records and this awesome dress I love the little house print !So today didn't turn out so terrible after all. =)
